We are looking for a top Sales Person with an extensive rolodex of operations and plant leadership in the petrochemical, refining and specialty chemical markets in Texas and Louisiana.
- Set up meetings with prospective customers at the plant level.
- Develop new profitable business relationships and maintain them.
- Work with the existing sales and operations teams in achieving company sales goals.
- Identify, establish, and maintain business relationships with plant management level, decision makers and other personnel in customer organizations who have influence in the decision process.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our customers’ business, including their products and processes, pain points, and industry dynamics.
- Must be a Team player who shares wins and success.
- Must have 5-10 years of experience in relevant technical/technology sales in the industry.
- A large network of operations contacts and peers in the industry.
- A proven track record of success selling to plant managers, operations directors, operations managers and other relevant plant-based roles.
- A proven self-starter who is motivated by finding new business opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Polished and competent in presenting to customers and conferences.
- Effective selling and relationship skills at all levels within customer organizations.
- Must be able to travel throughout the company’s North American markets.
