Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong fundamentals in software development and architecture. A solid background in mathematics (geometry and linear algebra) and experience with WebGL is a plus.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys writing high-performance, framework-free solutions from scratch.
You will have a unique opportunity to shape and drive the development of a core part of our proprietary front-end library, with direct impact on end-user experience.
This is a remote role for candidates based in Spain and authorized to work in the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of our proprietary JavaScript-based front-end library.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver new features.
- Write and maintain efficient, clean and reusable code with minimal external dependencies.
- Ensure high performance and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Develop interactive 3D experiences using WebGL where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Experience building complex browser-based tools or libraries from scratch.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, browser behavior, performance, and layout/rendering.
- Solid mathematical foundation (e.g., geometry, linear algebra) and familiarity with WebGL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- English level B2 or higher.
- Must reside in Spain and legally authorized to work here.
